This Privacy Notice explains how Relaxandwatch ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our streaming service (the "Service"). Relaxandwatch is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

1. Personal data we collect

Account data: name, email address, authentication identifiers (e.g. Google account ID).
Usage data: episodes viewed, watch progress, playback events, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP.
Purchase data: which product you purchased, order status, and entitlement records. Card and billing details are collected and processed directly by Paddle — we do not receive or store them.
Support data: messages you send us and any information you include in them.

2. How and why we use your data

Create and manage your account and grant access to purchased content — legal basis: contract performance.
Provide, personalise, and improve the Service — legitimate interests.
Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents — legitimate interests / legal obligation.
Send transactional emails (receipts, subscription notices, security alerts) — contract performance.
Comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations — legal obligation.

3. Who we share data with

Paddle.com Market Ltd. — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, calculates and remits sales tax/VAT, issues invoices, and handles refunds and chargebacks on our behalf.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — for application hosting, database storage, video delivery, and email delivery.
Authentication providers — Google, when you sign in with Google.
Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit professionals under confidentiality.
Authorities — where required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as appropriate safeguards.

5. Data retention

We retain account and purchase data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years for billing records). Usage logs are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.

Restrict or object to certain processing.
Receive a portable copy of your data.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We use essential cookies and local storage strictly required to keep you signed in and to remember playback progress. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
